Interesting article. I was always under the impression that a room or home had to have a special type of insulation installed for 'sound proofing' to take hold. I didn't know that there are soundproof curtains that accomplish the same thing.

My husband and I have 5 kids and he's has just taken a job working the graveyard shift as a computer operator. How dependable our sound blocking curtains? He's sleeps during the days and has difficulty sleeping.
